The Jeep® brand is gearing up for an exciting return to the Rebelle Rally, marking its ninth consecutive year in this iconic off-road competition. This year, the 2024 Gladiator Mojave will be the star vehicle, driven by the skilled and seasoned duo of Nena Barlow and Teralin Petereit.
Both women are no strangers to the challenges of the Rebelle Rally, having not only competed for several years but also earned major accolades like the Overall and Bone Stock awards in two of the last three rallies. What makes this year even more special is that it will be the first time they’ll be navigating the rough desert terrain in a midsize pickup, the Gladiator Mojave.
The Rebelle Rally is a unique event in the United States, being the only off-road navigation rally designed exclusively for women. Competitors are tasked with blending their love for driving with precise navigation skills, all without the aid of GPS or cell phones.
Over the course of eight grueling days, participants will cover 1,500 miles of the Nevada and California deserts, which is the ideal setting for Jeep to showcase just how capable and durable the Gladiator Mojave really is. It’s an ultimate test of both human endurance and vehicle performance, and the Gladiator Mojave, with its desert-tuned capabilities, is poised to excel in this environment.

As Barlow expressed, the Jeep Gladiator Mojave gives them the confidence to tackle the most challenging checkpoints in the rally, knowing the vehicle can handle whatever the desert throws at it. The 2024 model comes with several new features, including standard side-curtain airbags and a 12.3-inch Uconnect touchscreen, along with its already robust off-road performance enhancements.
